Video Games (Nintendo Downloadable Games Get Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers)

3DS owners can put their handhelds to some more fun use with the latest system update that’s gone live, while Wii gamers can get themselves a dose of some classic fighting action with Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers which highlights this week’s Nintendo downloadable games. Other content that has been released for Nintendo devices includes a 3DS exclusive named Block Factory and a DSiWare titled Chuck E. Cheese’s Arcade Room. A new clip also hits the Nintendo Video service in the form of Save World Get Girl by the band, I Fight Dragons.
The new 3DS system update allows gamers to create folders so as to organize their games and applications on the device’s Home menu. Moreover, the eShop interface also gets spruced up, enabling users to browse more content at once, using the top and bottom rows. Like the previous update which endowed the handheld with 3D video recording capabilities, this one too will start downloading automatically when the 3DS enters the range of a wireless Internet connection.
Block Factory for the 3DS supposedly lets gamers create and invent their own falling block puzzle games. Four predefined games are also comprised in this title, along with the ability for players to share their creations with the help of the Street Pass or QR Code images. Capcom’s Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers had first released way back in 1993 for Arcades, but this version is a Wii port of the Sega Genesis edition of the game. It supports head-to-head local battles as well as online matches.
Wii owners can download the title through the Virtual Console section of the Wii Shop Channel in exchange of 800 Points. The last entry into this week’s list of Nintendo downloadable games is Chuck E. Cheese’s Arcade Room. It is claimed by its maker to digitally recreate the magic of being at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant. By participation in various activities, gamers can earn tickets and redeem them for prizes and toys.
